NFPA’s 2021 Annual Conference is expected to deliver the enriching content and networking our members expect while also exceeding the interactivity capabilities of the typical virtual experience. Features of the upcoming event include:

  • Virtual Networking Ballroom: What sets this event apart from traditional web conferencing experiences is its unique approach to face-to-face interaction. Before and after presentations, attendees can move between and mingle at a number of virtual tables where they can join video chatrooms that host several guests at a time. This approach is a more organic way to initiate networking between attendees and mimics the traditional interaction of an in-person conference as closely as possible. View this platform networking tutorial to learn more.
  • Chat: When you have a comment to make or a question to ask during a presentation, you can use the chat box to share your thoughts with panelists and attendees. This space is great for adding supplemental thoughts and information to continue the conversation forward as well as receive more information on the details that interest you most. You can also chat and video call privately with other event attendees.
  • Entertainment Options: In place of the recreational activities at an in-person conference, the virtual event will include optional online entertainment activities such as trivia and Olympic-themed games.

In addition to these virtual features, those who register for the in-person Power of Association event will also have access to additional in-person networking opportunities during the duration of the conference at the Omni Montelucia Resort in Scottsdale, Arizona.

The 2021 Annual Conference may look a bit different this year, but the event has been designed to accommodate the expectations of a typical conference while also ensuring the safety of our attendees. Register today to guarantee your access to this unique virtual experience.
