In Memoriam: Former TC 131/SC4 Chairman Passes Away

In Memoriam

Luis (Lou) Moreiras Sr., TC 131/SC4 Chairman until December 2020, recently passed away. Lou began his career in engineering in the 1970s and spent 32 years of his career at Parker Hannifin before retiring in 2009. He started his consulting company, Hydraulic Technical Services, LLC, the same year. In addition, he served as a member and chairman of several SAE (Society of Automotive Engineers) and ISO (International Organization for Standardization) committees, had ten U.S. and foreign patents, authored several articles, and spoke at a number of industry conferences throughout his career.
