Meet Heroes MAKE America Graduates April 17

As a sponsor of The Manufacturing Institute’s Heroes Make America (HMA) program, the National Fluid Power Association and its members are invited to the upcoming HMA Networking Event.

Event Details:
Wednesday, April 17, 2019

Washburn Institute of Technology
5724 Huntoon Street
Topeka, KS

Heroes MAKE America is a 10-week career skills training program that arms transitioning service members with the industry-specific skills and certifications necessary to build a successful career in manufacturing. Veterans have the experience and the qualities that these rewarding and well-paying careers require, and with just a short course of training, they could be the perfect candidates to fill your open positions.

This event will be a social networking event that will allow companies to interact with the students in a casual setting. There will be a separate room that can be used for on-site interviews. The students’ resumes will be available for viewing prior to the event.

NFPA members also have the opportunity present to the students about careers in fluid power available at their companies.

Please respond to Amy Zignego at azignego@nfpa.com by March 8th if you are interested in attending.
