In June 2018, as part of the ongoing efforts to help members keep up with key trends affecting the fluid power industry, the NFPA Board of Directors set a goal to recruit five companies that provide services and products related to the Internet of Things into NFPA membership by the end of June 2019.
Since setting that goal, there are now four IoT companies as supplier members of NFPA:
IoT Diagnostics
Elevat IoT
ShelfAware
IoT Technology Solutions, A Division of STA Group
These four new members are contributing on the NFPA IoT Committee and helping bring more knowledge and awareness of IoT to other NFPA members.
So we’re approaching the goal, but we don’t have many prospects in the hopper.
Any NFPA member who refers a company that subsequently joins will receive one free conference registration to be used at either the Industry & Economic Outlook Conference or the NFPA Annual Conference. If you are familiar with an IoT service provider that should be part of our industry forum, please contact Pete Alles at (414) 778-3350 or palles@nfpa.com.
IoT companies that join NFPA will benefit from increased visibility with more than 340 member companies plus opportunities for greater visibility as we begin offering IoT-focused webinars presented by IoT service provider members. The new member will also receive two free conference registrations so they can start experiencing, and contributing to, the industry-wide networking forums offered by NFPA.
