By Eric Lanke, NFPA President/CEO

Every other year, the National Fluid Power Association (NFPA) engages with stakeholders across the fluid power supply chain to refresh and re-publish its Technology Roadmap for the Fluid Power Industry. The NFPA Roadmap is a document that describes the evolving needs of companies in fluid power’s many customer markets, the degree to which fluid power is capable of meeting those needs, and the R&D objectives that will help fluid power meet or better meet those needs in the future.

We are now beginning a new refresh cycle that will culminate in the production of a new document in August 2021. We are seeking feedback from a wide array of stakeholders on the current needs of companies in fluid power’s many customer markets. The Roadmap refers to these needs as Drivers (i.e., the business or technology objectives that these companies have in order to better meet the needs of their own customers).

Please take a few minutes to complete our survey at: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/TZ77FHC

You will be taken through the 20 largest fluid power customer markets and asked to respond only for those with which you have familiarity. Those markets are:

The survey will remain open until December 17, 2020.

We appreciate your input. Questions can be directed to me at elanke@nfpa.com.
