full agenda for the December 3 Virtual NFPA/FPIC Regional Conference on “Fluid Power Business Adaptability in a VUCA (Volatile, Uncertain, Complex, Ambiguous) Business World” is now available. The conference, which will take place online via the highly interactive networking platform Remo, will feature the following presentations:

  • Manufacturing Panel Discussion – Moderated by Buckley Brinkman (Executive Director & CEO; Wisconsin Center for Manufacturing and Productivity) | Panelists: Mike Coast (President; Michigan Manufacturing Technology Center), Ethan Karp (President and CEO; Ohio Manufacturing Partnership), Buckley Brinkman
  • Traditional Fluid Power Sales and Distribution as We Know It Are Dead | Mike Terzo P.E. (CEO & CTO; Terzo Power Systems, LLC)
  • Adapting our Business in a COVID World Through Speed, Empowerment and Communication | Mike Ternes (Vice President – OEM Business Unit Americas Region; Mann+Hummel)

All NFPA members can attend the conference for free, but non-members will be charged $100 upon registration. Registration for the event closes November 30.

The half-day conference will focus on how key players in our industry adapted their businesses to unforeseen challenges. In response to attendee feedback, the conference will now be conducted over Remo to provide numerous features for attendee interaction with the presentations and each other. Offering this event virtually will give members and non-members alike the unique chance to receive exclusive insight on tackling VUCA challenges in the fluid power industry without ever having to leave their home.
