The NFPA Executive Leadership Program is an in-depth and interactive program that combines in-person and virtual learning sessions over two full years to help emerging leaders in the fluid power industry develop their network and advance their management and leadership skills through tailored content. Its sessions are presented in collaboration with the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, with Kellogg faculty helping to curate interactions among program participations.
A second cohort of scholars are now engaging in this program, with their first in-person session held in conjunction with the August 2022 NFPA Industry and Economic Outlook Conference. Comments from the session’s evaluation included:
- [Instructor] was able to explain a lot of the important qualities that it takes to help build trust among our peers, co–workers, friends and family. These tools that we learn will not only help with our professional life, but are capable of helping with our personal life as well.
- The break out sessions with our partners during class gave us the ability to engage one another and build a trusting relationship by sharing our experiences as they pertained to the subject matter in class.
- [Instructor] is clearly highly–versed in this subject matter and is easy to engage with. He does a great job creating a warming/comfortable presence in the classroom which makes it easier for the participants to want to engage.
Spots are still open in this cutting-edge, executive education experience – which will be meeting virtually and in-person throughout 2023 and the first half of 2024. For more information, visit: https://www.nfpa.com/home/membership/Future-Leaders/NFPA-Executive-Leadership-Program.htm
