2025 NFPA Annual Conference Foundation Fundraisers
The mission of the NFPA Foundation is to increase the number of technical college and university students educated in fluid power and connect them to careers in the fluid power industry.
Thanks to the generosity and efforts of companies and individuals in the fluid power industry, the NFPA Foundation's workforce development initiatives have impacted thousands of students at all grade levels across the country through education programs, scholarships and opportunities that support educators and schools and offer NFPA members a direct connection to emerging talent and opportunities to increase your company visibility among students and faculty near them.
This year's Annual Conference offers three exciting ways to support the NFPA Foundation while connecting with industry peers. Join us at the NFPA Foundation Golf Fundraiser, now on-site at the resort, to enjoy exclusive networking on the course for a good cause. Try your hand in the Cornhole Tournament, which returns for its second year, and includes a donation, light appetizers, and drinks to fuel some friendly competition. For newly a unique experience, attend our new glassblowing demonstration and workshop, where you’ll learn the art of glass fusing and create a personalized suncatcher to take home while supporting the foundation.
Golf Foundation Fundraiser
12:30PM Shotgun Start
Located just steps from the front lobby and in conjunction with the Ventana Golf & Racquet Club, we offer two Tom Fazio-designed championship 18-hole golf courses. Both courses are designed to blend into the Santa Catalina Mountains’ natural features. Weaving through desert cacti and scenic canyons, the courses embody the character of the Sonoran Desert landscape, as well as a unique variety of desert fauna. The Canyon Course winds through the inspiring beauty of the Esperero Canyon and incorporates the massive rock formation known as Whaleback Rock.

Cornhole Tournament Foundation Fundraiser
1:30PM - 3:30PM
In its 2nd year at the Annual Conference 2025, join us for a cornhole tournament supporting the NFPA Foundation.
Participation fee includes a $75 donation to the foundation, light appetizers, beer and soda, and entrance into the tournament (price stays the same if you are just watching).
Cornhole Sponsorship: $1,200 includes a $600 donation to the foundation, one (1) participant fee, logo placement on cornhole board, logo featured on nfpahub.com event site, and on shared signage at the event. For any additional questions, please contact Allison Forsythe at aforsythe@nfpa.com.
Glassblowing Demonstration & Glass Fusing Project
1:30PM - 4:30PM
Added as a 3rd fundraiser for the NFPA Foundation, guests will have the option to watch a fun and informative demonstration of glassblowing as a master artist explains the skills needed to craft, shape, color and design various projects.
Next, you become the artist and learn the art of Glass Fusing. Participants will design a uniquely crafted glass, one of-a-kind art piece. Guests will learn to cut scrap glass and then, on a clear base, create a 2-D design that will fuse into a kiln and slump into a mold of his/her choice. The finished piece will be a suncatcher.
Finished suncatchers are fused back at the shop and shipped to the guests when cooled.
Participation fee includes a $75 donation to the foundation.
