Meeting Customer Needs: An Analysis from the NFPA Technology Roadmap

A collaborative webinar sponsored by the Power Transmission Distributors Association (PTDA) and the National Fluid Power Association (NFPA).

NFPA and PTDA members alike participated in the development of the 2021 NFPA Technology Roadmap, a document that, in part, describes the needs of 20 customer markets across the fluid power and power transmission spectrum. In this 60-minute webinar, we’ll present those findings from the Technology Roadmap, and discuss some of the fluid power and power transmission technology solutions best designed to meet those needs.

Presenter Bio's

Anthony Smith, Motion

Anthony is a recent graduate of Purdue University’s Mechanical Engineering Technology program. Anthony got his start in the PT/MC industry as a 2019 Engineering Intern with Kaman Fluid Power (recently acquired by Motion Industries) in Greenfield, IN. Following graduation, he transitioned to a full-time role as an Application Engineer in the Engineered Solutions Group. His responsibilities include helping the sales team and the customer decide what technologies and products best fit their needs. Additionally, Anthony is a Certified Hydraulic Specialist through the International Fluid Power Society.

 

Rick Keller, BDI

Rick began his career with Fastenal Company in Winona before joining Kaman Industrial Technologies in 1990, where he held numerous positions including Branch Manager, District Manager, Regional Director and National Accounts roles. In 2013, Rick joined Applied Industrial Technologies as a Regional Manager. He joined BDI in 2020 as Value Creation Champion. Rick has extensive experience in the areas of Food & Beverage, Paper & Pulp, Mining, Oil & Gas and Milling. Rick earned a degree in business administration from Winona State University.
