It was my pleasure to present on the future of hydraulics at the recent Hagglunds Technology Day in Houston, Texas. More than 30 customers of fluid power technology attended. It was a great opportunity to share some of the positive market and technology growth happening in hydraulics and to seek their feedback on ways to better serve their needs. My thanks go to the NFPA members at Hagglunds and Bosch Rexroth who reached out and invited me to participate.
Presentations like this are a direct result of requests NFPA members make through our webpage promoting the Annual Report on the U.S. Fluid Power Industry: https://www.nfpa.com/home/industry-stats/Annual-Report-on-US-Fluid-Power-Industry.htm
Any NFPA member can request a presentation for their company meeting or customer event. Using the information that is summarized in the report, presentation topics can include:
- Workforce and Fluid Power Education/Training
- Hydraulic and/or Pneumatic US Markets
- Energy and Efficiency Systems
- Research and Development
- Technology Roadmap for the Fluid Power Industry
I look forward to doing as many of these presentations as my schedule will allow.
