Programs like the Power Partner University Program are made possible in part by the generous support of industry volunteers as well as NFPA Education and Technology Foundation and Pascal Society donors. Support these efforts by making a donation.
At a Meet the Students/Industry Connection Event on September 29, Purdue University students enrolled in Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, and Electrical Engineering degree programs met with nine NFPA member companies in a speed networking event. Held virtually on the Remo platform, students visited each company’s table where industry representatives talked about the fluid power industry, what their company does and what they like most about their jobs. In addition, students could share their interests and learn about opportunities for internships and jobs.
Thank you to each company that participated:
- Applied Industrial Technologies – Fluid Power Division
- Brand Hydraulics
- FORCE America, Inc.
- Husco
- HydraForce
- Hydraulic Supply Company
- John Henry Foster Company
- Sun Hydraulics
- SunSource
A special thank you to Dr. José García Bravo and other members of Purdue’s faculty for helping make this event a great success.
