March’s Annual Conference was the perfect way to start off another great year with NFPA. More than 247 total attendees from 129 member companies attended this year’s conference in Laguna Beach, California. While there, they had the opportunity to learn from unique speakers, brainstorm during committee meetings, network with industry peers, and have a little fun too!
The conference schedule included presentations about the Internet of Things in relation to fluid power, ethics in leadership and teamwork, geopolitics, and more. These presentations are available for download to attendees here. Other conference highlights included a productive Board of Directors meeting, a great turnout for the Future Leaders meeting, and networking events. The attendee spouse/guest outreach program, sponsored by Danfoss, was also well attended and directly benefited those abroad in the military, as well as their families. Attendees also had the opportunity to extend their networking out on the golf course and on several tour options.
Thank you to all who attended this year’s conference. Continue taking advantage of your NFPA benefits by saving the date for the Industry and Economic Conference (IEOC), August 12-14, 2019 at the Hilton Oak Brook Hills Resort & Conference Center. The IEOC will offer more insightful speakers, networking opportunities, and other ways to get the most of your membership! Registration will open in spring.
