Tuesday, April 18th, NFPA will be hosting a two-part virtual event with Purdue University. We will begin with the Indiana Workforce Engagement Group meeting where you can expect an open discussion between NFPA staff, Purdue University faculty, and industry representatives from NFPA member companies. This is meant to provide a space for collaboration as well as an opportunity to ask questions regarding Purdue University programs, NFPA programs, and to share how NFPA can better support your workforce needs.
Following this conversation, we will welcome Purdue University Engineering students to join the event to begin a virtual career fair. Each NFPA member company can meet with students in your own “breakout” room to speak directly with students about open positions at your company. Purdue University students from the following programs will be invited to this event: Fluid Power Club members, Fluid Power Vehicle Challenge team, mechanical engineering technology students, electrical engineering students, as well as agricultural and biological engineering students.
