Programs like the Fluid Power Action Challenge Grant are made possible in part by the generous support of industry volunteers as well as NFPA Education and Technology Foundation and Pascal Society donors. Support these efforts by making a donation.
Every year, the National Fluid Power Association awards up to $500.00 to a number of schools and nonprofits nationwide to implement fluid power into their curriculums and programs. This past week the NFPA gave the application a new look in coordination with the recently launched Foundation website.
The Fluid Power Action Challenge Grant still has the same requirements:
- Grant funds must be used for costs directly related to fluid power instruction.
- Provide NFPA with a detailed budget for the items that will be purchased with the grant funds.
- Once the project is complete, all grant recipients must submit a summary report, including photos, videos, and/or testimonials.
- Applicants are encouraged to apply annually to help keep fluid power curriculum incorporated in their classroom activities or to participate in an Action Challenge event.
Through programs like the Fluid Power Action Challenge Grant, the NFPA is fulfilling its mission of helping to strengthen the fluid power industry by promoting fluid power education and connecting educators and students to its industry members. Please feel free to share this opportunity with educational institutions in your community. Contact Eric Pannell with any questions.
