Host Your Own Fluid Power Action Challenge In Your Community
NFPA’s Fluid Power Action Challenge attracts thousands of students across the US and Canada each year. Teams of students get the opportunity to build fluid power mechanical kits using balsawood and syringes. By using the How It Works website, NFPA hopes to encourage educators and event planners to set up Fluid Power Action Challenges within their communities.

This fall, we have lunched our updated resource center on our How It Work webpage located under the Fluid Power Action Challenge tab on the website. One of the most significant changes you will see on the How It Works pages is that the competition has been divided into two main categories: In-School and Community Competitions. Both sets of competitors have their own set of unique documents based on the designated mechanical kit designs.
