We’re excited to share a new onboarding video from Allison Forsythe, your Standards and Program Manager at the National Fluid Power Association (NFPA). In this video, Allison highlights the important work we’re doing in standards development and how you can get involved.
At NFPA, we manage both domestic and international standards, including those through the International Organization for Standardization (ISO). As the administrator of 11 national committees, known as US Technical Advisory Groups (TAGs), NFPA plays a critical role in shaping the US position on global fluid power standards under ISO/TC 131, the Fluid Power Systems Technical Committee. We also hold several leadership positions within ISO, allowing us to influence how these standards are developed.
If you’re interested in shaping the future of fluid power and supporting US companies in the global market, Allison encourages you to get involved and make a meaningful impact. Contact her at aforsythe@nfpa.com for more information.
Watch the video now to learn more about how you can be a part of this important work, and stay tuned for more insights from our team in the coming weeks!
