The September 2 NFPA/FPIC Quarterly Conference is quickly approaching and is set to offer a unique opportunity for virtual interaction. The conference will take place on Remo, a platform that allows attendees to seamlessly move from table to table in order to chat with fellow industry members and even allows for one-on-one conversations in-between sessions. Though hosting the event virtually changes the way attendees communicate, the conference has adapted to continue to provide the interaction with other attendees and presenters our members expect.
- Live Questions & Answers: Remo’s Q&A feature allows guests to type a question and receive real-time responses from the presenter. This is an excellent way to actively participate in the conversation and expand on the presented content.
- Virtual Networking Ballroom: What sets Remo apart from traditional web conferencing platforms is its unique approach to face-to-face interaction. Before and after presentations, attendees will be able to mingle at a number of virtual tables where they can join video chatrooms that host several guests at a time. This approach is a more organic way to initiate networking between attendees and mimics the traditional interaction of an in-person conference as closely as possible. View this Remo networking tutorial to learn more.
- Chat: When you have a comment to make, you can use the chat box to share your thoughts with panelists and attendees. This space is great for adding supplemental thoughts and information to move the conversation forward.
Connecting virtually has never been easier and more personal. We hope to see you there!
*This event is free to NFPA and FPIC members. Non-members are welcome to attend but will be charged a $100 registration fee upon registration
