Mechanical Engineering Recruitment Event

NFPA would like to invite you to join the Mechanical Engineering Engagement event with Northern Illinois University (NIU). This event will take place on Monday, March 6th from 10AM-2PM at Rock Valley College in Rockford, IL.
In Rockford, Illinois, Northern Illinois University is partnering with Rock Valley College (RVC) to offer NIU Engineering at RVC, a program designed to train local students in mechanical engineering. Students take the first two years of courses from RVC faculty. Third and fourth-year courses are taught by NIU faculty on the RVC campus, and students earn an NIU Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. This event allows you and your company to have visibility with our newest Power Partner and view the strengths in NIU’s program and facilities, all the while utilizing this event for recruitment.
The event will begin with a career fair as a recruitment opportunity for you and your company. Following this, students and industry members are welcomed to join us for a presentation from NFPA’s president and CEO, Eric Lanke on the topic of electrification within the fluid power industry. Finally, we will wrap up this event with a networking luncheon that will be provided for industry representatives and NIU/RVC engineering students.
