NFPA’s annual Reverse Career Fair with Murray State University on November 20, 2024, was another fantastic event! This year, 30 engineering students showcased their fluid power projects, giving NFPA members the opportunity to witness firsthand the remarkable talent emerging from our Power Partner University.
Students from a variety of engineering disciplines shared their senior design and classroom projects, highlighting creative applications of fluid power. Some standout projects included a soda bottling system using pneumatics and the Fluid Power Vehicle Challenge Team’s bike.
A big thank you to the NFPA members who joined us for the event, Scott Industrial Systems, Inc, and Hydro-Gear. Your participation continues to make this event a meaningful experience for the students and a valuable opportunity for our members to engage with the next generation of talent.
As we celebrate our third year of partnership with Murray State University, we want to remind our members of ongoing opportunities to connect with their students. Currently, the university is seeking industry representatives to join their Speaker’s Bureau, either virtually or in person. This is a fantastic way to build your company’s visibility and network with potential candidates for internships or full-time positions.
If you’re interested in speaking with Murray State University students or exploring other engagement opportunities, please contact Sineigh Quinn at squinn@nfpa.com.
