NAM’s Manufacturing Institute will be hosting a career fair focused on connecting members of the military and veteran community with local, national, and regional manufacturers who are hiring.
It will take place in person at:
Fort Riley on June 8, 2023
10:00 – 2:00 PM EST
Riley Community Center – 446 Seitz Drive, Fort Riley, KS 66442
This event is open to the entire military and veteran community on Fort Riley in Kansas and in the surrounding areas. The Heroes Make America (HMA) class will be in session during that time will be in attendance. Employers that participate will have that groups resume in advance of the event in case they want to do on-site interviews.
About Heroes MAKE America
In partnership with the Department of Defense, Heroes MAKE America offers military personnel a 10-week career skills training program before leaving active duty. Their training supports transitioning service members with the industry-specific skills and certifications necessary to build a successful career in manufacturing. HMA participants are looking to work in communities around the country.
