Member News: Trelleborg Names New Global Segment Director

NFPA member news is designed to inform members of key industry updates in quick, bite-sized posts that provide only the most important information. This week’s update comes from Trelleborg Sealing Solutions.

Trelleborg Sealing Solutions recently announced the promotion of Michael Cook as Global Segment Director, Off-Highway & Marketing Americas Segment Manager, Fluid Power. In this role, Cook will help execute and support the global strategy for fluid power in the Americas as well as hold responsibility for the coordination of all aspects of business development, marketing and sales globally for the off-highway business segment.

Cook has been with Trelleborg for a number of years, going through the Trelleborg Graduate program in 2015-16 and the Trelleborg Sealing Solutions Talent Program in 2020-21. He has been the Fluid Power Technical Specialist since 2018 and had previously been an Application Engineer at the company. He holds a Master of Engineering Management degree from Ohio University and Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering from Texas A&M University.
