Komatsu hosted its second annual Fluid Power Action Challenge at the Rocky Grove Volunteer Fire Department. This year, the event tripled in size with 72 student competitors.
In addition the Action Challenge activities, Famic Technology provided participating students with an interactive demonstration unit of a Komatsu excavator on both the workshop and challenge days. The demonstration used two joysticks to activate software that controlled a 3D animation of the excavator. Famic Technology also awarded the championship team an educational license of that software, two hours of online training, and one year of maintenance and technical support.
