IFPS Introduces Digital Reference Handbook

Since 1960, the International Fluid Power Society (IFPS) has provided an objective, third-party assessment of skill levels and knowledge for thousands of fluid power professionals, making it the industry standard for the fluid power and motion control industries.

The International Fluid Power Society created the Fluid Power Reference Handbook to be “the ultimate resource for hydraulic, pneumatic, and motion control professionals”. The First Edition was published in 2019, and in 2024 they introduced digital access to the handbook.

Digitally accessing the Fluid Power Reference Handbook offers a range of benefits that enhance its learning and reference experience:

  • Convenience and Portability: With digital access to the Fluid Power Reference Handbook, readers can carry the handbook wherever you go. Plus, they can instantly access any updates made to the handbook, ensuring the most current information available.
  • Interactive Table of Contents: Digital access features an interactive table of contents that makes it easy to navigate through chapters. This feature allows readers to jump to specific sections quickly, saving valuable time that would otherwise be spent flipping through pages.
  • Efficient Search Tools: Digital access comes equipped with search tools that allow readers to find the information you need with just a few keystrokes.
  • Customizable Reading Experience: Digital access offers a customizable experience that allows readers to tailor the text to their preferences. Font size, style, and color can be adjusted, making it easier to read and understand the material.
  • Enhanced Visuals: Digital access includes high-quality visuals, such as charts, graphs, and illustrations, that can be zoomed in on for closer inspection.
