IFPE 2020
March 10-14, 2020
Las Vegas Convention Center
Las Vegas, Nevada
IFPE 2020 is not only set to offer opportunities for fluid power companies to show off their latest technologies to existing and potential customers, but will also provide opportunities for exhibitors and attendees alike to learn about the latest breakthroughs in fluid power research.
The IFPE Research Symposium, presented by NFPA, will take place during the lunch hours of March 11-13 and will feature presentations by fluid power researchers from universities across the U.S. The presented research is funded in part by a new U.S. Department of Energy program that aims to improve the energy efficiency of hydraulic systems in off-road vehicles.
The presentation schedule is:
- Wednesday, March 11, 11:30 am – 12:30 pm | “Individual Electro-Hydraulic Actuators for Off Road Machines,” Andrea Vacca, Purdue University
- Thursday, March 12, 11:30 am – 12:30 pm | “Efficient, Compact, and Smooth Variable Propulsion Motor,” James Van de Ven, University of Minnesota
- Friday, March 13, 11:30 am – 12:30 pm | “Hybrid Hydraulic-Electric Architecture for Mobile Machines,” Perry Li, University of Minnesota
Anyone interested in research and development projects of importance to the fluid power industry is welcome to attend, with pre-registration required to reserve one of the complimentary lunches each day. Learn more and pre-register for one or all of the sessions here.
