Evaluate U.S. Industry Sales by Customer Market

Participate in NFPA’s Customer Market Survey to Get Exclusive Customer Market Data

The 2019 NFPA Customer Market Survey (CMS) is now underway.* Once again, NFPA is collecting U.S. hydraulic and pneumatic sales figures from manufacturer members to create a more complete information source about fluid power customer markets. The results of this survey will allow participants to properly interpret the segmentation of hydraulic and pneumatic sales by customer market. We encourage all of our manufacturer members to participate since the survey results are only available to those members who contribute data to the survey.

“Measuring industry sales by customer market is a critical piece of industry intelligence that allows us to understand the role each customer segment plays in the marketplace and even identify emerging markets to investigate.”  Tricia Fulton, Helios Technologies

For a visual of how the data and analysis results are displayed, examples from the 2016 report have been included below.

As you can see, these results supply a valuable segmentation snapshot of our industry’s sales to our most popular customer markets in both dollar and percentage formats.

The CMS survey has been distributed to all NFPA manufacturer members and is due Tuesday, July 7th.  The person most familiar with your company’s sales of fluid power products should complete this online survey and can have a survey link and information sent directly by sending their contact information to Eric Armstrong at earmstrong@nfpa.com or (414) 778-3372.

We appreciate the time and effort our members devote to the completion of this survey.  The entire industry will benefit as a result.

Questions?  Contact Eric Armstrong at earmstrong@nfpa.com or (414) 778-3372.

*While collecting this information from member companies, we take great care to maintain confidentiality of individual company data. We have partnered with The Dieringer Research Group, an independent market research firm, to conduct the survey and data aggregation while protecting our members’ sensitive information.
