NFPA’s Econ and Stats Committee met in September following the IEOC to discuss the conference, future speakers, and the state of current programs. Results from the IEOC evaluation survey were shared with the committee and helped drive conversations about future speakers, topics, and more. As a result of the meeting, NFPA has confirmed a new speaker for the Construction Machinery Forecast slot from Off-Highway Research. The committee also discussed the state of several participation-based programs and the newly launched Stats Dashboard.
NFPA’s Econ and Stats Committee meets twice a year virtually and is a great opportunity to provide direction and support to stats programs and events. If you or someone you know is interested in joining this committee, please reach out to sdiedrich@nfpa.com.
