Last year, Jacob Barnes, an NFPA Robotics Challenge Scholarship winner in California participated in the International Fluid Power Society’s (IFPS) Mentorship Program. NFPA helped connect Jacob to the IFPS Mentorship Program and it was great to see them explore fluid power on a deeper level.
IFPS is currently accepting applications for this year’s mentorship program. Students, early-career professionals, and certified fluid power experts are encouraged to apply for the mentorship program. It is an excellent way for emerging fluid power professionals to engage with industry leaders to learn valuable leadership skills and expand their knowledge of the fluid power industry. Mentors and mentees benefit from mentor programs through increased confidence, job satisfaction, and by building relationships based on trust, experience exchange, support, and guidance.
Apply soon! The deadline is July 3, 2022 and there are only 10 spots for mentees. The four-month program kicks off on August 1, 2022.
