2021 Annual Conference Offers Accessible Networking and Learning

Last week’s Annual Conference brought more than 130 total participants from nearly 100 companies and organizations together both in-person in Scottsdale, Arizona and online. Feedback was positive and noted quality speakers and valuable networking opportunities. The event featured a variety of expert presenters, enriching panel discussions and refreshingly authentic networking (both in-person and virtual). Hosting the event as a hybrid made the Annual Conference more accessible to our members than ever before and resulted in over 90% of participants saying they felt they’d received a good return on their investment from the conference.

Highlights from the conference included a fascinating geopolitical update about a post-globalization world, a crucial economic forecast regarding the fluid power industry and its customer markets as well as a number of opportunities to learn, grow and mingle like never before. Other conference highlights were a productive Board of Directors meeting and informative association update sessions for our members. Additionally, participants had the opportunity to participate in fun, virtual experiences like Office Olympics and Trivia.

Many members also attended the exclusive Future Leaders presentation and networking event designed to encourage the growth and success of younger professionals in our industry. Learn more about how you can participate in Future Leaders here.

Thank you to all who attended this year’s conference. Continue taking advantage of your NFPA benefits by saving the date for the Industry and Economic Conference (IEOC), August 16-18, 2021 at the Hilton Oak Brook Hills Resort & Conference Center. The IEOC will offer more insightful speakers, networking opportunities and other ways to get the most of your membership! Registration will open in spring.
