Promote Fluid Power Career Opportunities on May 27

NFPA continues to sponsor The Manufacturing Institute’s (MI) program called Heroes MAKE America (HMA), which offers industry training designed to help our nation’s service members transition into manufacturing careers.

HMA has moved to a remote learning environment to continue to support our military community and is preparing for this be the standard as they begin the next round of classes in May. The MI is currently building out a virtual career week to take the place of the traditional face-to-face programming. As part of the career week, the MI will be hosting a zoom webinar panel titled “Manufacturing 101.” During this panel, we will discuss the industry and what modern manufacturing is, what plant operations look like, and why the military community is a good fit for manufacturing roles.

NFPA is seeking 1-2 member companies to serve as representatives on the panel to increase awareness of fluid power career opportunities amongst the HMA student populations and hopefully help drive their interest in pursuing careers in the industry.

Below is the date and time we are hoping to lock in for:

Wednesday, May 27th, 10:00AM – 11:00AM CST

If your company is interested in participating, please contact Amy Zignego at azignego@nfpa.com to get connected.
