This week Danfoss announced it has entered into an agreement to acquire Eaton’s Hydraulics business. The move is in line with Danfoss’ strategy to strengthen its core businesses. It will also expand the company’s geographic footprint and product offering, expanding Danfoss’ reach into the industrial market segments served by Eaton Hydraulics. Eaton’s Hydraulics business will be transferred into Danfoss Power Solutions, the existing Danfoss business segment, adding 11,000 employees and increasing Danfoss’ size by one third. The transaction is expected to close by the end of the year. Read the full release here and here.
