First Regional Meeting of 2019 Covers IoT with Real-World Applications

Over 30 fluid power professionals met over breakfast March 26 for the 2019 Detroit Regional Meeting at the Macomb Community College in Warren, Michigan. This year’s featured speaker was Andrew Johnson, the CEO of ShelfAware, who presented, “A Practical Approach to Innovation – Theories into Reality.” Andrew’s presentation explored several use cases that illustrated entry-level innovations in process automation, the Internet of Things (IoT), and business optimization. Hardware and software demonstrations brought these high-tech theories into reality.

NFPA Regional Meetings offer a chance to meet with other fluid power professionals in cities across the country. NFPA members and non-members alike are welcome to attend, and the meetings are free! The next Regional Meeting will take place April 25 in Minneapolis. Learn more and register here.
