Call for Proposals: Hydraulics Technology Conference at iVT EXPO USA 2025

The National Fluid Power Association (NFPA) will again be hosting a hydraulics technology conference at the 2025 iVT EXPO USA trade show, to be held August 20-21 in Chicago, IL.

iVT EXPO is an annual exposition for the off-highway vehicle design and engineering community, which first took place in the United States in 2022. The event is focused on all types of industrial and off-highway vehicles, with exhibits that are highly focused on a number of key technologies, including new powertrains, electric and hybrid systems, control systems, sensors, and autonomous technologies. With hydraulics serving as a key enabling technology for these vehicles and many of these systems, iVT EXPO offers an ideal platform for growth and expansion of hydraulics, both in its affiliated education program and on its show floor.

NFPA will plan and deliver a two-day conference, running in parallel with the trade show and another education track, that will offer iVT EXPO attendees and exhibitors with information on the latest advances in hydraulic technology.

NFPA members are now encouraged to submit session proposals for inclusion in the conference. A multitude of presentation topics will be considered, but special consideration will be given to proposals that address:

  • Hydraulic system designs, architectures, and products optimized for performance on off-highway vehicles with electrified powertrains
  • Thermal management strategies for hydraulicly-actuated, electrified off-highway vehicles
  • Improvements in hydraulic system efficiency, especially those that help to increase battery life on electrified off-highway vehicles
  • Strategies for reducing the volume and harshness of hydraulic noise on electrified off-highway vehicles
  • Hydraulic data collection and utilization strategies that provide system or machine-level performance improvements
  • Hydraulic systems that operate in partial or fully autonomous modes
  • Cutting-edge research innovations that may change the use or application of fluid power technologies

The typical session presented with be 20 minutes in length. To submit a session proposal, send proposed title, presenter with 100-word bio, and 100-word abstract of presentation to elanke@nfpa.com before February 28, 2025.
