Encourage Student Enrollment in Fluid Power at NCAT University

The National Fluid Power Association (NFPA) is excited to announce an upcoming industry connection event in collaboration with North Carolina A&T State University (NCAT). On November 6, 2024, at 5:30 PM EST, the NCAT Fluid Power Club will host a virtual meeting for NFPA member companies, NCAT engineering faculty, and engineering students. This event aims to foster the ongoing collaboration between NFPA and one of our seven Power Partner Universities, NCAT.

Through our University Grant program, we have helped NCAT develop a fluid power curriculum and lab kits, creating new educational opportunities for students. Now, as NCAT prepares to enroll students in this course, industry support is needed to highlight the importance and career potential of fluid power. We invite industry representatives to join this upcoming call where NCAT faculty will promote the course to sophomore and junior engineering students, offering additional encouragement to pursue fluid power careers and enroll in this grant-funded course. This partnership reinforces our commitment to advancing fluid power education and student engagement.

Following this, there will be a Q&A session, providing our members the opportunity to interact directly with students and faculty. Join us for an evening of insightful discussions and networking. We look forward to seeing you there!
