Since 1960, the International Fluid Power Society (IFPS) has provided an objective, third-party assessment of skill levels and knowledge for thousands of fluid power professionals, making it the industry standard for the fluid power and motion control industries.
New in 2024, the IFPS has a new certification opportunity available to professionals in the fluid power industry. A Fluid Power Support Associate will demonstrate an understanding of key terminology used within the industry throughout the entire supply chain from sales to purchasing, to shipments, and beyond; show a general knowledge of fluid power principles; understanding of basic fluid power component functions; understand and knowledge of basic properties of fluids; understand the usage and application of seals; and demonstrate a knowledge of safety principles related to work within the fluid power industry.
