NFPA industry representatives are needed to participate in our Speaker’s Bureau this spring. The Speaker’s Bureau is designed to provide an opportunity for our members to meet, either virtually or in-person, with faculty and students at high schools, tech schools, and universities across the country. Participation in the Speaker’s Bureau provides an opportunity for company visibility, networking, and recruiting, as well as promotion of careers in fluid power.
We have several universities who are looking to bring industry representatives into their classrooms this spring. Please review the list of universities below along with the discussion topics that they have requested to be covered in the presentation. If you are interested in any of these opportunities, please contact Kyla Olson at kolson@nfpa.com.
- Cleveland State University (Cleveland, OH) – Open to a variety of speakers
- Purdue University Northwest (Hammond, IN) – They are looking for a speaker in either hydraulic manufacturers, industrial automation, robotics, or transmission manufacturers.
- Milwaukee School of Engineering (Milwaukee, WI) – Their fluid power club is looking for a speaker who can discuss pneumatic circuits. They are also looking to do a facility tour at a local company.
- Western Michigan University (Kalamazoo, MI) – Looking for a speaker around mid-April.
