New Global Fluid Power Report and Forecast Available

Oxford Economics had updated their quarterly Global Fluid Power Report and Forecast. This report contains hydraulic and pneumatic demand forecasts for 20 different countries around the globe. Countries covered include:

  • United States
  • China
  • Mexico
  • Germany
  • Canada

Highlights from the latest report:

  • Globally: motor vehicles and parts continues to be the fastest growing end-use market in 2023.
  • US: GDP growth surprised to the upside in Q2, coming in at 2.4% q/q in annualized terms.
  • Mexico: GDP data for Q2 showed and expansion of 0.8% q/q, coming in above expectations.
  • Germany: GDP declined slightly in Q2, marking the third consecutive quarter of contraction.
