Oxford Economics had updated their quarterly Global Fluid Power Report and Forecast. This report contains hydraulic and pneumatic demand forecasts for 20 different countries around the globe. Countries covered include:
- United States
- China
- Mexico
- Germany
- Canada
Highlights from the latest report:
- Globally: motor vehicles and parts continues to be the fastest growing end-use market in 2023.
- US: GDP growth surprised to the upside in Q2, coming in at 2.4% q/q in annualized terms.
- Mexico: GDP data for Q2 showed and expansion of 0.8% q/q, coming in above expectations.
- Germany: GDP declined slightly in Q2, marking the third consecutive quarter of contraction.
