U.S. Imports & Exports of Fluid Power Products Continue to Increase

Data from Q1 2023 has been updated in NFPA’s U.S. Foreign Trade of Fluid Power report. This report tracks value of U.S. imports and exports filtered by fluid power products. Total U.S. imports and exports of fluid power products continued to increase in Q1 2023 when graphed on a 12 month moving average (12mma). U.S. imports remain well above U.S. exports with March 2023 having a trade balance of -$232 million (exports – imports, graphed on a 12mma).

Within the foreign trade report, we can see trade balances with various countries. The table below details the most significant balances over the last 12 months, positive and negative.
