One of our main goals for the Workforce Team here at NFPA is to help provide more knowledge about the fluid power industry and to help support its growth. One way we are working to do that is through our Speaker’s Bureau Program. The Speaker’s Bureau is designed to provide an opportunity for our members to meet, either virtually or in-person, with faculty and students at high schools, tech schools, and universities across the country.
Presenters can speak with students about their personal education and job experiences, their role at their company, what fluid power is, and careers available in the industry. The goal here is to introduce students to the field of fluid power.
Participation in the Speaker’s Bureau provides an opportunity for company visibility, networking and recruiting, as well as promotion of careers in fluid power. Our Workforce Team can introduce you to connections at our partner schools and help organize a time for you to speak with their students. If you’re interested or would like further information, please contact the Workforce Team at workforce@nfpa.com.
