Recruitment Opportunity: Reverse Career Fair at Murray State University

The National Fluid Power Association has welcomed Murray State University in Murray, Kentucky, to join our Power Partner Program right in time for the new school year! Murray State University has several fluid power related degree programs in its School of Engineering. One of which is the Electromechanical Engineering Technology (EMT) program, that focuses heavily on automation and controls within industry.

The Mechatronics lab is an integrated laboratory space that houses hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical motor control systems, and robotics trainers in which students complete courses in introduction to engineering design, fluid power systems, electric motor controls, motion controls, and robotics. The EMT program also houses an electrical laboratory and an automation lab that houses over 20 PLC trainers. Students built many of the trainers housed in the automation lab with equipment donated from regional industry. The EMT faculty pride themselves in delivering real world industrial applications in all their courses.

To officially introduce you to our newest Power Partner, we would like to invite you to join Murray State’s School of Engineering Reverse Career Fair on November 16. At this event, students involved in senior design, research, and general projects will display their work to industry members so they can receive valuable feedback on their progress. This opportunity allows you and your company to have visibility with our newest Power Partner university and view the strengths in Murray State’s EMT program and facilities, while utilizing this event for recruitment. If you are interested in taking part in this event, please complete the registration form.

If you have any questions, please contact Kyla Olson at kolson@nfpa.com.
