Recruit Students at Purdue’s 2022 Maha Fluid Power Conference

On May 17-19, Purdue University’s Maha Fluid Power Research Center is hosting its 2022 Maha Fluid Power Conference. The goal of the conference is to network, exchange ideas, and present the recent research trends in fluid power and related applications. The conference program includes technical presentations, keynote lectures, and a half day optional hands-on workshop.

The conference has technical presentations given from Purdue speakers and largely from external speakers from academia and invited industries. Keynote talks are given by Prof. Juergen Weber (TU Dresden) and Katharina Schmitz (RWTH Aachen). The program will cover various topics, such as high efficiency fluid power systems, new hydraulic components, tribology, motion control, electrification, natural gas engines, soft robotics, and autonomous vehicles.

As NFPA’s University Power Partner Program continues to grow, there are more opportunities for NFPA members to get connected to students looking to enter the fluid power industry. This is a recognition program designed to showcase a university that actively participates in all NFPA fluid power educational programs and Purdue is NFPA’s inaugural Power Partner. As a result, on May 19th, NFPA members are invited to attend a student recruiting event to showcase your company, highlight internships and job opportunities and network with students. Students enrolled in College of Engineering, College of Agriculture, College of Technology will be invited. There is no fee to participate in the recruitment event.

The deadline to register for the recruitment event is May 13. Companies interested in attending the Maha Fluid Power Conference on the May 17th and 18th are encouraged to register for early-bird pricing by April 15.

For questions related to the recruitment event, contact Stephanie sscaccianoce@nfpa.com.
