Sponsor the 2021-2022 NFPA Vehicle Challenge

Fluid Power Vehicle Challenge logo

The 2021-2022 NFPA Fluid Power Vehicle Challenge is launching soon! We are expanding this program to include students from up to 21 geographically diverse universities, which will increase your company’s connection to the talent pool emerging from schools across the country. University teams are confirming their participation, and companies are already starting to claim their spots as judges, mentors and sponsors. NFPA members who are interested in supporting the challenge should consider donating to the Pascal Society. Pascal donors have a number of ways to show support and maximize visibility to this large group of emerging engineers this year, including through sponsoring, attending networking mixers, providing logo stickers, and volunteering to judge or mentor.

The Technology Sponsorship is an immediate need that offers your company year-long recognition from September 2021 to April 2022.

  • What it is: Your sponsorship supports an exclusive website for Vehicle Challenge and Fluid Power Club participants. The website serves as the key resource for students from 20+ universities as well as industry representatives, providing program information as well as acting as the submission portal for student competition deliverables and team evaluations from judges.
  • What you get: Your company logo will be prominently placed on the website for the duration of the program year, acknowledging your support.

Sponsorships are also available that help to create a space during the final competition event for these bright students to network with fluid power representatives and be hired into our industry. To learn more about these and other sponsorship* options, click here.

Save the Date! On November 5, from 1-3 pm CST, we will host a Virtual Networking Mixer for Vehicle Challenge participants and Pascal Donors. This will be an engaging two-hour session in a ballroom-inspired seating arrangement. Like speed meetings, this event will allow HR and Outreach representatives to exclusively connect with up to 6 to 8 students at a time in segmented Zoom breakout rooms. Industry members can discuss career opportunities while students will have a chance to ask questions of their mentors or sponsors. Registration opens soon. In the meantime, contact Stephanie at sscaccianoce@nfpa.com for details about the event.

Pascal Donors are also invited to brand the competition vehicles by mailing company logo stickers to the participating schools for student teams to put on their vehicles in advance of the competition. If this is of interest to you, email Stephanie at sscaccianoce@nfpa.com to be put on the list to receive the university mailing addresses when they are available.

Interested in working directly with students as a judge or a mentor for this year’s Vehicle Challenge? Contact Lynn Beyer at lbeyer@nfpa.com to get started.

Students involved in the Fluid Power Vehicle Challenge are depending on NFPA members like you to support this opportunity by becoming donors to the Pascal Society. Donate today, or if your company has already donated, explore ways to support the event!
