Manufacturing Day 2020 is finally here! Every fall, manufacturers across America open their doors to show their communities what manufacturing really looks like. Several NFPA member companies are involved in this year’s MFG Day, which is traditionally celebrated on the first Friday in October, but some of them are celebrating all month long. Virtual options make this easy and allows for continued and broader promotion by creating a shareable experience.
Whether virtual, one-day, or extended, The NFPA Speakers Bureau program is a great way to engage with students and effectively talk about your personal job experience, your company, and the many exciting careers currently available—what industries they’re in, what they pay, and the markets they serve. NFPA can help promote your event, get you connected with our education partners, or share your content with them.
Are you one of the NFPA members currently registered for MFG Day 2020? Tell us about your event and please send any shareable pictures and recaps to Stephanie Scaccianoce at sscaccianoce@nfpa.com so that we can help promote the ways our industry has worked to change the perception of modern manufacturing and inspire the next generation!
