As the International Standards Organization (ISO) secretariat for Technical Committee (TC 131) – Fluid power, NFPA coordinates standardization work, both internationally at the ISO level and nationally at the technical advisory group level.
NFPA is looking for cylinder engineers interested in participating in this work.
Committee members view and download documents and reply to ballots by logging into online committee forums. Examples of topics covered in the cylinder technical advisory group are acceptance tests, mounting dimensions, tolerances and identification code for cylinder mounting types and dimensions.
NFPA members are invited to volunteer as experts on the cylinders TC 131 subcommittees at both the national and international level.
