NFPA Executive Leadership Program participants
Last week’s Annual Conference brought more than 220 total attendees from 110 companies and organizations to Miami, Florida for the first NFPA event of the year. The conference featured unique speakers, ample networking opportunities, and fun engagement opportunities to explore the association and the city.
Conference presentations about geopolitics, the neuroscience of corporate cultures, innovation, and leadership are available for attendees to download from the presentation download library sponsored by Trelleborg Sealing Solutions.
The event also marked the official start of the NFPA Executive Leadership Program, a leadership development program presented in collaboration with the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. The program will take place over the course of the next 18 months and will challenge participants to level up their leadership skills while expanding their networks. Twenty-three members are taking part in this inaugural cohort.
Other conference highlights included a productive Board of Directors meeting, a great turnout for the Future Leaders meeting, and networking events. The attendee spouse/guest outreach program, sponsored by FORCE America, was also well attended and directly benefited foster children.
Thank you to all who attended this year’s conference. Continue taking advantage of your NFPA benefits by saving the date for the Industry and Economic Conference (IEOC), August 10-12, 2020 at the Hilton Oak Brook Hills Resort & Conference Center. The IEOC will offer more insightful speakers, networking opportunities, and other ways to get the most of your membership! Registration will open in spring.
