U.S. TAG to ISO/TC 131/SC 6 Tours Southwest Research Institute

During a recent U.S. TAG to ISO/TC 131/SC 6 meeting in San Antonio, the contamination control committee members had the opportunity to tour the Southwest Research Institute (SwRI). SwRI is one of the oldest and largest independent, nonprofit, applied research and development organizations in the United States. The Institute occupies more than 1,200 acres and provides more than 2 million square feet of laboratories, test facilities, workshops and offices. Committee members saw first-hand the mechanical engineering labs for fluids and machinery engineering, including a walk-through of the flow measurement and fluid dynamics and multiphase flow test facilities.
