Top Reasons to Visit NFPA at IFPE 2017

IFPE 2017
March 7-11, 2017
Las Vegas Convention Center

Set-up has already begun for IFPE 2017, and NFPA will once again have a strong presence at the March 7-11 show. While the show provides the perfect opportunity for companies to showcase their specialties and for industry leaders and engineers to learn more about the newest innovations, it also offers NFPA members several opportunities to take further advantage of their membership right in the NFPA booth, S81430. Here’s how:

1. Network with other members
A special reception will be held on Wednesday, March 8 at 5:00pm in the NFPA booth (S81430) immediately after the close of the show. All NFPA members are invited to attend, whether they are exhibiting at the show or walking the show floor. Take the opportunity to enjoy light refreshments while meeting other members.

2. Attend a presentation
Throughout the show, NFPA will be offering presentations on various subjects, such as industry statistics, standards development, and fluid power workforce initiatives. The bite-sized presentations will last 10-15 minutes and will be followed by a Q&A session. Here’s the schedule:

-10:30 am | NFPA Stats Programs
Eric Armstrong, Economics & Statistical Programs Manager at NFPA
– 1:30 pm | Creating More Fluid Power University Engineers

3. Take advantage of meeting space
The NFPA booth features a private meeting area for NFPA members to conduct small, informal meetings with industry colleagues and customers. There will also be plenty of seating available throughout the booth to sit down and have a conversation.

4. Learn more about your membership
Can’t make it to a presentation? The NFPA booth will provide other opportunities to learn more about what you can do with your membership whenever you can stop by. Videos covering general membership information, workforce initiatives, and industry statistics programs will be playing throughout the show, and staff will be available to answer questions.
