Students meet local manufacturers and learn firsthand about career opportunities.

On December 2, the Waukesha County Business Alliance invited NFPA staff to attend their Schools2Skills™ program. The program provided high school students with an opportunity to visit local manufacturers, tour their facilities and learn about career opportunities. The tour concluded at Waukesha County Technical College where students learned about educational programs available for these types of opportunities.

The Waukesha County Manufacturing Alliance serves as a platform for manufacturers to share ideas, encourage innovation, work together to transform the image of manufacturing and target new talent.
