The purpose of SHI’s visit was to learn more about the Center and to gain a better understanding of how they could work with Center research faculty to achieve their company’s goals. In addition to touring some UMN fluid power labs, they also visited the new Thomas E. Murphy Engine Research Laboratory, improved engine research infrastructure within Mechanical Engineering. SHI also learned about CCEFP’s collaboration with the National Fluid Power Association (NFPA) and they were invited to participate in the Center’s activities by supporting the Pascal Society.
