Update Available for Stats Toolkit Excel: Download Now

NFPA’s Toolkit is undergoing a minor update. The data range selection will now include January 2000 to December 2020. The tool will continue to allow users to automate time-consuming calculations, trend analysis and custom forecasting with simple point-and-click menu options to create graphs and hard data that can be easily transferred to other reports and presentations.

What does an “Updated Data Range” mean to Toolkit Users?
The selectable data range now available in the Toolkit is January 2000 to December 2020.  This applies to both standard and custom data series.

To complete this update, existing Toolkit Users should:

  1. Cut CompanyData.xls from your Toolkit subdirectory and paste elsewhere so to transfer data to the new CompanyData.xls file you will need to download.  You may want to rename the old CompanyData.xls file so you can have both the old and new file open at the same time to transfer data.
  2. Go to: https://www.stevecrane.sysvine.com/
  3. Enter your CSS company code and password
    – Your CSS Login is available upon request.
  4. Choose the “Get Updated Data Files” link.
  5. Locate Toolkit8.xls and CompanyData.xls at the bottom of the webpage.
  6. Download Toolkit8.xls – Delete Toolkit7.xls and replace with Toolkit8.xls
  7. Download CompanyData.xls and transfer your company and custom data to the new CompanyData.xls file if applicable.
  8. Download and Overwrite the other typical update files – NFPAData.xls, CSSSuppData.xls, ITRData.xls, GlobalData.xls.
NFPA’s Stats Toolkit Excel is an Excel-based software program that will expand the user’s economic view of their company and our industry by combining multiple NFPA data sources with the types of analytical tools used today.

Want to start using NFPA’s Stats Toolkit Excel?  Participation in the Confidential Shipment Statistics (CSS) program is required.

New Toolkit Users should:

  1. Go to: https://www.stevecrane.sysvine.com/
  2. Enter your CSS company code and password
    – Your CSS Login is available upon request.
  3. Choose the “Get Started with the Toolkit” link.
  4. Follow the general download instructions available on the webpage.
  5. Request a CompanyGateway.xls file from NFPA (step 3 of Toolkit download process).
