NFPA Volunteer Opportunity – Join Pneumatics Taskforce to Develop the Fluid Power Design Blog

Promoting the technological advancement of fluid power is one of NFPA’s key strategic priorities. As part of that effort, the NFPA Board of Directors has set an objective to create the web’s authoritative source of information about fluid power in customer markets, drive customers to it, and connect them to NFPA members.

In 2015 the Power2Move blog site will be re-designed to focus on the “Pneumatic Advantage” of fluid power. Factory automation is the largest sector for pneumatic technology, which is widely used for manipulating products in manufacturing, processing, and packaging operations. With the help of NFPA’s pneumatics community, we would like to develop the Fluid Power Design Blog, where machine builders can learn about the advantages of using pneumatics and the new, emerging, and interesting applications of pneumatics.

A taskforce of pneumatic members is forming to help develop and contribute content on a regular basis for this new and exciting blog devoted to using pneumatics. If you or someone from your company would like to be part of this exciting taskforce please contact Denise Rockhill.
